How It Works
A Fair Value Gap forms when the wick of one candle does not overlap with the body of the candle two periods later, creating an imbalance zone. The indicator marks these zones with colored rectangles. When price eventually returns to fill the gap (mitigation), the rectangle changes style to indicate the zone is no longer active. Unmitigated gaps act as magnets for price, creating excellent entry and target areas.
