How It Works

Each morning at market open, the indicator evaluates four key metrics: (1) EMA alignment across 8, 21, 50, and 200 periods, (2) ADX reading above 25 for trend strength, (3) Previous session closing direction relative to open, and (4) Overnight gap analysis. These are weighted and combined into a single bias score from 0-100. Scores above 65 indicate strong bullish bias, below 35 strong bearish, and 35-65 neutral.
